Results That Count
Each sound and piece of music that we work with here at Jemstone Media is treated with the best care and given the best possible sound quality it could ever possibly get. We understand that musicians and artists have individual needs for their work, and we strive to meet those needs, for whatever reason, no matter what.
We believe that music should be spacious and deep, not squished and distorted. We want your ears to breathe, not choke. We don't believe in using a lot of presets and pre-processed effects on our recordings. Instead, we like to look at each track's individual space within the stereo spectrum, and give each part of your song or track its own breathing room. Here at Jemstone Media, we want to enjoy the recordings right along with you, and make it as pleasureable an experience as possible.
How Long Will It Take?
Our services generally take 2 - 3 days for individual songs and 5 - 10 days for full albums and or tape transfers, depending on what is intailed. We've never had a mixing or mastering project go longer than 7 days. Most are between 3 and 5 days. Tape to CD transfers are in real time. In other words, we have to actually play the recording while we record it into our system, digitally. So, depending on the length of the actual tape recordings and the level stabilization it takes to store the most optimum recorded signal, it could take between 1-3 days.
